Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Funding Status

Our office continues to release payments based on available funds under the Continuing Resolution through March 14, 2025. As of February 28, 2025, we have released all 7003 initial payments, including generally comparable district rate adjustments, based on a proration of 50%.  We made all payments for children with disabilities at $500 per weighted student unit. We made 78% of foundation payments for Section 7002.

FY 2026 Monitoring Notifications and Training

On February 26, 2025, we sent FY 2026 application monitoring notifications to local educational agencies (LEAs). If you have received one of these notifications and need assistance, you should contact the Impact Aid analyst listed and copied on your monitoring notification email.  We also strongly recommend attending our Tuesday, March 4, 2025 webinar at 2 p.m. Eastern Time/11 a.m. Pacific Time, which will cover what documentation to submit, how to organize it, and how to submit it. FY 2026 Application Deadlines

Late Applications with Penalty

The FY 2026 late application deadline for Section 7002 and Section 7003 is April 1, 2025.  Late applications are assessed a 10% payment penalty.

Amendment Deadline
