Surveys for the 2020-2021 School Year

Many LEAs have expressed concerns about lower response rates on the required annual survey of Federally connected students for the FY 2022 Section 7003 grant application due to the COVID-19 pandemic. LEAs must conduct surveys after the fourth day of school and before January 31 (34 CFR 222.33).  In light of these concerns, the Impact Aid Program is providing a summary of available survey options, including electronic options, that are currently permissible under the statute and program regulations.
